Kurt Eddins, Owner
I've been into music for most of my life and had been dabbling with a few instruments along the way, however I only started to take my playing more seriously over the last 8 years or so, when I finally had the opportunity to buy a drumset to keep at my house. That eventually led to inviting other people to come over and jam, which ultimately encouraged me to dive into music theory, songwriting, and playing piano. I enjoy listening to and playing a wide variety of music, including classic rock, hard rock, blues, reggae, and many others. I've had some great teachers so far and I'm always looking to learn.
In 2023, with a little one at home and my other business (360 Relay) needing some new office space anyway, I decided to start looking at real estate to see if there was a building that might allow me to combine business with passion. Using The Record Co. in Boston as a model, my vision was to build out a bunch of high-quality rooms here in Dover that bands and musicians could rent (and of course, carve out a room for myself!). Luckily, I stumbled on 6 Milk St. at the right time and was fortunate enough to be able to purchase and renovate it. The bigger vision here at Milk St. Studios is to create a community environment for all artists to collaborate and work on their craft, and it is a project that I am extremely excited to be working on!
