Milk St Studios Featured on NH Chronicle’s Home At Last

Recently, we had the honor of being part of something much bigger than music.

NH Chronicle visited Milk St Studios to film a segment for their Home At Last series—an incredible initiative focused on helping foster children find permanent, loving homes.

This wasn’t just a studio feature. It was a chance to use music to make a real impact.

Meet Colby & Harley

During the visit, we had the privilege of spending time with two foster kids—Colby and Harley—who share a genuine love for music.

From the moment they walked in, it was clear:

  • They were curious

  • They were creative

  • And they lit up when given the chance to play

We got to hang out, make some noise together, and give them a space to just be themselves.

No pressure. No labels. Just music.

Why This Meant So Much

At Milk St Studios, we talk a lot about breaking down barriers in music. But this experience was a reminder that music can break down much bigger barriers than we sometimes realize.

This segment was about:

  • Showing Colby and Harley in a positive, authentic light

  • Letting their personalities and talents shine

  • Creating a moment where they felt seen, heard, and valued

And hopefully…

  • Inspiring someone out there to take the next step and consider adoption

The Power of Music + Community

What stood out most was how quickly music created a connection.

In just a short time:

  • Walls came down

  • Confidence grew

  • Laughter took over the room

That’s the kind of environment we strive to create every day—but seeing it through this lens made it even more meaningful.

A Bigger Purpose

We’re incredibly grateful to NH Chronicle for including us in such an important segment and for the work they’re doing to support these kids.

If this story reaches the right person—someone who’s been thinking about adoption or fostering—and it leads to a life-changing decision…

That’s what this is all about.

Watch the Segment

If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s absolutely worth a watch. Colby and Harley are amazing, and we’re honored to have been a small part of their story.
